Front Office & Clinic Support | Up to 10 hours per week

Nourish Lactation is a small Women’s Health and Pediatrics Practice with a group of 5 humans making up the entire day-to-day team. We have two Lactation Consultants, a back office position, an insurance billing specialist, and a front office scheduler. We are adding to our team!

This position is hybrid with most hours working in-person. The daily schedule can be tailored to fit both the applicant and Nourish Lactation needs. This position can work around your current work-from-home schedule or your baby’s nap schedule!

Based on availability and weekly work flow this position will range from 5-10 hours per week with a starting date of March 8, 2024. This is a non-benefitted position.

In Person Job duties include:

Visits to our SW Bend Clinic (once per week)

  • Maintaining inventory of office and clinic supplies & reordering when needed. (Diapers, wipes, medical gloves, cleaning supplies, specialty items, etc.)

  • Weekly re-organization and stocking of clinic items

  • Use of medical sterilizer

  • Laundry and sorting for items used in clinic setting

  • Errands and tasks that may require driving for bank deposits, copy and print orders, store purchases, etc.

Recurring classes (once every other month)

  • Set up and clean up each class located in NE Bend

  • Assistance with answering registration questions, printing materials in advance

    This will vary per class - the goal is to help make each one run smoothly!

Remote Job duties include:

  • Providing real human connection through phone and email communication (this is typically very low volume and there are others in the clinic sharing this piece of the daily workflow)

  • Answering telephones

  • calls when available

  • Returning voicemails throughout the day

  • Receiving and responding to emails

    • Patient communication

    • Health care provider/health care clinic communication

    • Communicating with other members of our team

  • Accessing EHR

  • Data entry as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous medical office experience

  • Experience with telephone scheduling strongly preferred

  • Working knowledge of Email and Google Drive

REQUIRED Devices:

  • Access to strong and stable wifi

  • Your own computer

  • Reliable Transportation

  • Follow up! We do need a personality type that feels comfortable following up until the talk is complete

  • Willing to grow with the position a big plus! As a teeny tiny medical practice that is continuing to evolve, there is room to grow with us!
