Lactation

Lactation Appointments are as unique as you and your baby! We will spend an hour reviewing your birth story, health history and any concerns about feeding your baby that you, your OB/Midwife or your Pediatrician may be having.

Body tension can significantly impact feeding experiences for both baby and caregiver, whether breastfeeding or bottle feeding. When tension builds up in the body, it can lead to discomfort and hinder the natural flow of the feeding process. Working with our Physical Therapist (and learning the secrets of Tummy Time) that is trained to understand infant feeding can help answer many questions about why feeding your baby is frustrating.
