Advanced Clinical Lactation Care in Bend, Oregon.

Who we are: We are licensed lactation consultants and experienced clinicians serving families in Bend for over a decade. We’re also mothers, and we understand that feeding a baby is emotional, physical, and deeply personal. Our care is compassionate, evidence informed, and grounded in real life.

How we support you: We assess and treat common and complex feeding challenges. From painful latch and milk supply concerns to weight gain and sleep related feeding issues. You’ll receive a clear, personalized plan with steps that fit your family’s goals and rhythm. If things feel overwhelming, we help you simplify and prioritize what matters most right now.

We collaborate closely with local pediatric and birth professionals, to coordinate care and keep everyone on the same page for your and your baby.

What you can expect: Thorough assessment. Hands on guidance. Clear education. Ongoing support.
Our goal is to reduce pain, ease anxiety, and help you move forward with confidence. If you’re navigating feeding concerns, we’re here to listen, guide, and create a manageable plan that works for your family.

Outcomes you can expect

  • Reduced pain and improved latch in the short term

  • Better feeding efficiency and more comfortable feeding sessions

  • A clear plan for improved infant weight gain

  • Increased milk removal through improved pumping and management of supply

  • Clear paths forward when surgical or medical referrals are needed

It will take a couple visits to get the full picture, but our ultimate goal really is to support you so much that we work ourselves out of a job—giving you the confidence and tools to care for your baby without endless checklists or a set number of appointments.

Breastfeeding, Pumping & Infant Feeding

Lactation Appointments are as unique as you and your baby! We will spend an hour reviewing your birth story, health history and any concerns about feeding your baby that you, your OB/Midwife or your Pediatrician may be having.

Body tension can significantly impact feeding experiences for both baby and caregiver, whether breastfeeding or bottle feeding. When tension builds up in the body, it can lead to discomfort and hinder the natural flow of the feeding process. Working with our Physical Therapist (and learning the secrets of Tummy Time) that is trained to understand infant feeding can help answer many questions about why feeding your baby is frustrating.

Milk Donation

Nourish Lactation is Central Oregon’s Drop Location for Northwest Mother’s Milk Bank!

Northwest Mother’s Milk Bank is a Tigard, Oregon nonprofit improving health and safety for vulnerable infants. Human milk reduces risks for preterm babies; when breastfeeding isn’t possible, pasteurized donor milk can be lifesaving.

Approved donors may drop off milk at our milk drop; we freeze and secure donations before transfer to the milk bank.
