This two-hour, fun-filled Prenatal Breastfeeding Class will help to prepare you for the first days and weeks of breastfeeding with information and resources to build confident parents!

  • Physiology of lactation: How making milk works

  • What to expect in the first days

  • How your baby determines your milk supply

  • How to know if your baby is getting enough milk

  • Normal newborn behavior

  • Signs that everything is going well

  • How to know when things are not going well

  • Common challenges and how to prevent and/or overcome them

  • Positioning your baby to avoid soreness

  • When to call a lactation consultant
